But one night, I cried myself to sleep and had an encounter with Christ that changed everything!
That encounter reminded me that God is right beside me, even when life feels too heavy to bear. The truth is, He never left; the weight of life only clouded my eyes from seeing His presence.

God Is Right Beside You Even When You Can’t Feel Him
Many people feel overburdened by life’s responsibilities—family, job, children, spouse, health, finances, or ministry.
In such a state, you barely realize that God is right beside you, even when He’s holding your hands through it all.
But;
- God never designed life’s burdens for your shoulders.
- He has provided a way out from the very beginning.
- Confusion starts when we try to carry life’s burdens alone.
We think we can do everything by ourselves until we reach exhaustion. But from the start, we were meant to hand everything over to God.
You aren’t supposed to handle half the journey while Christ completes the rest. He wants full control of your life because God is right beside you every step of the way.
My Encounter With Christ: A Reminder That God Is Right Beside You
In my encounter, I was walking a long, endless path. I tried to get a lift, but none came.
Then, I passed a man on the way, who unknowingly to me was Christ. When I grew weary, He approached me gently and asked what was wrong.
“I’m exhausted,” I said.
He smiled and asked, “Why didn’t you come to me in the first place?”
That was the moment I realized it had been Christ all along. I had walked past Him, trying to do it all myself, forgetting that God is right beside me even when I rushed ahead without Him.
This is the same mistake many of us make, we rely on our own strength until we’re drained.
But Christ says:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”— Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
God wants you to hand every burden to Him from the beginning. When you surrender completely, you’ll find peace in knowing that God is right beside you, ready to refresh your soul.
God Is Right Beside You to Strengthen and Empower You
During our conversation, Christ told me He had never left me, not for one day.
He reminded me that I’m His own, and He will empower me to reach the finish line victoriously.
Also, he told me that the Holy Spirit is right inside of me as a;
- Guide
- Comforter
- Companion
- Intercessor
I woke up from that encounter hearing the words, “You’re never alone.” And that became the dawn of a new season for me.
The same truth stands for you today, God is right beside you.
When life gets hard, remember His promise:
“Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6
Beloved, it’s within your power to stay strong and fearless amid challenges.
You should remain courageous because God is right beside you. He goes before you, fights for you, and ensures you’re never forsaken.
You Are Never Alone — God Is Right Beside You Always
Even when you can’t see Him, be confident in His presence. If you ever feel alone, open the Scriptures and remind God of His promise never to forsake you.
His Spirit dwells inside of you, guiding and comforting you at every turn.
The Holy Spirit isn’t distant. He’s:
- A comforter when you need peace.
- An advocate when you need defense.
- A support when you feel weak.
- A friend when you feel alone.
Therefore, fear not. God is right beside you and will never leave your side. Your story is different, you are on the winning side, empowered to help others rise from their distress.
